All my adult life I've criticized the corporate American media for their lack of intelligence and creativity and their censorship of the most powerful art.

Painting and drawing is an area of complete freedom. I'm always impressed how it encourages originality, which often disturbs the artist initially as much as the viewer, which is a sign of creative growth.
